Paris, France is the setting of much of Jun Mochizuki's The Case Study of Vanitas. It is the current residence of main characters Vanitas and Noé Archiviste, as well as a key location for human-vampire relations.
Although Paris is in the human world, there are a notable number of vampires and dhampirs living there covertly, and these vampires are supervised on behalf of the Queen by Count Parks Orlok.
